From My Cold Dead Paws: Cats and the Guns They Love Reviews
This is a small book with various types of cats each with its preferred firearm (no edged weapons). It was purchased on a whim and it is worth the money spent. There are small (ca. 2-4 sentence) descriptions of the cat and its weapon of choice. Mine apparrently likes AKs too. Presentation is quite nice overall and amusing.
I don't know how the photographer got those poses but he is my nomination for best animal photographer of the year.
Cats, guns- read this book with some nacho cheese dip and beer in a can, only downside is that it could use more cats and more guns.. Pew, Pew!
Ironically this book helped us identify the breed of a cat we adopted.
Great full color photos. Book is a good read, and helps my cats get to sleep at night when they're restless.
Having won the "Best Book Book Prize" from the Feline Rifle Association, "From My Cold Dead Paws" is the authoritative guide to guns and cats, or cats and guns. You can imagine my shock--total, absolute shock--when I discovered that among the many cat breeds included, there was no Bengal. Not so shocked that I would curl up and die, leaving my AK-47 to be pried out of my cold, dead hands, but nevertheless shocked. I began to question the credibility of the FRA.
This book is exceptional, the way Bennett was able to capture the felines ever so perfectly with their firearms of choice is beyond impressive.
