I am not a designer nor will I ever have a design business; however, I am doing some home remodeling and thought that this book might give me ideas on how to "redesign" some rooms using the furniture I have. After reading through the book, I realized that it's geared more towards the design professional -- so I gave it to my sister-in-law, who is in the home design business, and she was absolutely thrilled. She was so excited, that she's now helping me "redesign" my rooms for free ... so the book was well worth the price I paid ;-)

I have been in the business for quite a few years and I did find helpful information in this book. Much of the book does seem set up to sell you on the purchase of the author's other books but I feel that I did get my money's worth.

Book is in great condition, the book was shipped promptly. I have not had a chance to take a crack at it, but once I do, I will update my thoughts.

This is a great book! It gives the reader an excellent overview of what it takes to successfully run a redesign business. It briefly covers all areas of your business including the legal side. I'd whole heartedly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in the interior redesign as a business.

Has fundamental ideas and suggestions for implementation, however I thought this book was a giant advertisement for the author's other services and books. I probably would not consider another of Ms. Jennings

I had high hopes for this book because the author is supposed to be the tops in the field. But this book was more of a book on starting a business than the art of interior design. Would it have bankrupted the publishers to add color to the pictures instead of black and white??? The author makes some good points but you can't understand them since the pictures are so bad. There are a few pages on furniture arrangement that are ok but not worth the $30-40 price tag. There are better books on starting a high-end design business that are half the price if not more. Do not buy this book.
